Why Narrative Matters
Your ePCR narrative is the clinical story that checkboxes cannot tell. It supports continuity of care, medical necessity, QA, billing integrity, and legal defensibility. A strong narrative is chronological, objective, and specific: what you found, what the patient said (quoted when possible), what you did, how they responded, and why you chose that destination or disposition.
Training note: practice only on fictional scenarios. Never paste real PHI into NarrativeCoach.

Patient stated, "It feels like an elephant on my chest," onset while shoveling at 09:10. Pain 8/10, radiating to left arm. Denied SOB at onset; developed mild dyspnea after nitro. Aspirin 324 mg PO at 09:22 with relief to 5/10.
